WELCOME to Wedlake Originals

I am Chris Wedlake, and I turn a wide variety of items, some of which you will find on this site.

I have a wide range of hand turned pens, from a basic twist action biro to high-end, collector quality, rollerballs and fountain pens. All are made using the best components available, and I complete each one to the same standard of quality finish.

You will also find my extensive range of wooden fruit with enough choice to make a display that will be the envy of your family and friends. All of the fruit I produce retains the natural grain of the wood and, with the exception of one item, are not coloured. I leave you to guess which one!

Kaleidoscopes for all children aged from 2 years to 100. Scopes have been around for nearly 200 years and I wish them to continue for another 200, though maybe not made by me by then.

Wooden bowls, ideal to display that collection of wooden fruit, made in a wide variety of woods, including highly figured burrs, from the UK and around the world.

Every item that I make, irrespective of size, is dealt with in the same professional manner to ensure that you have something that you will treasure for many years to come.
